What is talabat?

talabat is a leading online food delivery service that operates in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq.

We seamlessly connect customers with their favorite restaurants. It takes just few taps from our platform to place an order through talabat from your favorite place.

What does Talabat do?

We simply take your submitted order and send it to the restaurant through a completely automated process, so you don’t have to deal with all the hassle of ordering and we make sure that you receive your order on time, every-time!

Why should I use talabat on a phone?

talabat is the one huge food court for many restaurants, so you don’t need to go through the hassle of finding restaurants’ numbers, waiting on hold, or getting a busy signal while dialing a restaurant number, or getting the wrong order due to miscommunication over the phone! Besides, by using talabat, you can view menus with pictures of all your favorite restaurants on our easy-to-use website and app.

How much will it cost me to use talabat services?

The only extra charges that might be applied are the restaurant’s delivery fees.

Do you have Debit Card/Credit Card services?

Yes, most of the restaurants on talabat support online payment options for Debit Card/Credit Card. Here you can find all online payment methods we provide based on countries:

Kuwait: American Express, K-Net, MasterCard, and Visa.
KSA: Apple Pay, MasterCard, SADAD, and Visa.
UAE: American Express, Apple Pay, MasterCard, Visa, and Visa Checkout.
Bahrain: American Express, Benefit (Debit Card), MasterCard, and Visa.
Oman: American Express, MasterCard, Oman Net, and Visa.
Qatar: American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.
Jordan: American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.
Egypt: MasterCard and Visa.
Iraq: Cash payment only.

How do I place an order on Talabat?

Go to talabat app, log in with your account, then place an order from your favorite restaurant.

I entered my email/password combination wrong and now my account is blocked, what do I do?

If you entered the wrong combination of email/password repeatedly up to 5 times, your account will be blocked temporarily. The system will automatically email you a verification link where you need to unblock your account. In this email, we will also ask you to choose a new password.

If I placed an order, how long does it take to receive the order?

It depends on the restaurant's estimated delivery time. Each restaurant will display its order delivery time in the restaurant's "Info" section. However, the time may vary depending on the road traffic congestion.

I just placed an order, but I’m not sure if you got it. What do I do?

Once you are logged in to the app, go to the "My Orders" section and see if your order is listed. If your order is listed, then check the order status as “Successful”.

Can I re-order a previous order?

Yes. In the app, you can simply go to the "My Orders" section and choose an order from your previous orders, and re-order it.

I forgot to add an item to my order, what do I do?

Contact us if you need to add, remove or change items from your order. However, please note that if the restaurant already dispatched your order then any additional items may be accounted as a new order.

I was not happy with my order? Who should I contact?

If you have any issues with your order, you can notify us by calling our call center number or send us your complaint to customercare@talabat.com and your complaint will be handled by our customer service team.

Can I cancel my order? (subject to strict policy i.e. for late orders, missing items, wrong item, and delay in delivery.)

Yes, you can cancel your order within 5 minutes of placing your order. Please note that you cannot cancel your order later on because your order would have been already processed from the restaurant side. If your order was late for more than 20 minutes beyond the delivery promise time of the restaurant, you may also cancel your order. How long does the online payment refund process take?

The duration of the refund process varies depending on the payment method you used.
For K-Net it may take up to 3 working days, while for Benefit and SADAD it may take up to 6 working days.
The refund for MasterCard and Visa may take up to 6 days.

The order I received was not acceptable, how can I contact you?

If the order you received mismatches the order you placed or if there were missing/wrong items in your order, you can contact us directly through or by calling our call center and our customer service team will dispatch a complaint letter to the restaurant and we will notify you accordingly.

Can I rate or write a review about my recent order?

Yes. You can rate and write a review about your previous order. You can simply go to ‘My Orders’ tab on my account page and click on a particular order to rate/review.

Please note that reviews are subject to our moderation and will be showing on the restaurant section within 24 hours. Please read this section of our Terms and Conditions for more information about our reviews policy.

What is Talabat credit?

Talabat credit is a service that allows users to place orders with ease without having to refer to the Talabat debit cards payment gateway every time users wish to pay through Debit Card. It simply saves you time and makes ordering easier and faster.
(This service is currently available in Kuwait and Bahrain only)

How do I purchase Talabat credit?

You must have an account with Talabat first to buy Talabat credit. You can simply login and go to ‘My Account’ page and click on the Talabat credit tab. You will be able to choose the amount of credit you want to purchase and purchase this credit through our secure Debit Card payment gateway. You can top-up your credit at any time.

You can purchase amount of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 200 KD / BD credit to use on Talabat.

When does my Talabat Credit expire?

Talabat Credit cannot be used past the expiry date, which can be viewed in the Talabat Credit statement.

Talabat Credit purchased by the user expires after 12 months.

When a user receives Talabat Credit as compensation for an order, the credit will have a new expiration date up to 14 days from the date of receipt.

The user will be notified via email when their credit is nearing expiration.

Which restaurants can I place orders from using my Talabat credit?

Currently only restaurants that have debit card facility can be used to place orders using Talabat credit.

Where can I see my Talabat credit balance and statement?

The Talabat credit balance is shown in "Talabat Credit" tab under navigation bar.

To see your Talabat credit statement, you click on the "Talabat Credit Statement" tab.

What is Talabat gift voucher?

Talabat gift voucher is a service that enables users to buy gift voucher with predefined amounts from Talabat and send this voucher to a friend to use on placing orders through Talabat.

What are the gift voucher amounts available?

You can buy amount of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 KD / BD gift vouchers through Talabat.

How do I purchase Talabat gift voucher?

Click on the "Talabat gift Voucher" tab and choose gift voucher amount.

If the recipient is not registered with Talabat, the recipient of the gift voucher has to create an account to benefit from this gift voucher after clicking on the verification link in the email notification. Upon creating an account, the gift voucher will automatically convert into Talabat credit with the same gift voucher amount.

If the user has an account with Talabat, then upon clicking on the verification link in the notification email, the recipient will be able to see the gift voucher amount in ‘Talabat Credit’ in which the gift voucher is converted into Talabat credit with the same gift voucher amount.
